So here it is, the obligatory page where I tell you a bit ‘about me’. In reality, there’s not much to tell, only that I really like cake and my own really bad jokes. Oh and coffee, always coffee.
Absolutely Muffin was created by myself Nicola and a friend, just two people who both enjoyed eating and baking cake on a more than regular basis. At a time where we were told that you must now ‘eat clean’, ‘hail the Kale’ and swap carbs for courgettes, we decided to embrace our love of the sweeter things in life and pay homage to those who have inspired us too. My love of baking comes from my family, I don’t know many people who haven’t sat in awe as they’ve watched their Mum, Dad or Nan whip up an epic tasting cake and this blog is crammed with recipes inspired by them along with foodie reviews & much much more.

Hey, I love love your blog. Since following, I have discovered so many great recipes that I just have to bake. I have one question, how did you create your beautiful logo. It’s so pretty and I’ve been wanting to make my own. Did you use any particular software or??

My friend who I created the blog with designed it, she’s a graphic designer so I really have no idea on this occasion I’m afraid. I can ask her though 😊
